With the end of the 2008/2009 season the club held its annual end of
season tournament recently.
The tournament is played on a round robin basis with mixed
partnerships being selected at random. The top 2 men and top 2
women played off in a mixed final, best of 3 games.
This years finally was a hotly contest affair between new-comer
Ruth Alderdice partnered by William Hill and Eleanor Hanna
partnered by Steven Lowry. The match was extremely tight with
only a few points between the pairings at any time. Ruth and
William gained a slender 3 point advantage, late in the last game
and managed to hold out to take the title for this year
