In the 2008/2009 Portadown entered a team in the Ballinderry League, Divison II.
The team completed the double for the Division clinching the Divisional Cup and winning the league. This will mean promotion to Division I for the team where they hope to continue their winning ways.
The team currently playing in the Church of Ireland league also finished the season well, only narrowly being beaten in 2nd place in the league by a very strong Dungannon team.
The club also had a good representation at St. Annes end of year
tournament, with Jane Johnston and Sammy Hughes taking the 'C'
mixed title. Other club players including Heather Morton, Mark Belford,
Steven Lowry and William Hill also progressed well in the A mixed
and A mens sections of the tournament
