Portadown Badminton Club recently travelled to Scotland to compete in the Scottish Badminton Bonannza competition.

The competition was spread over 2 days, with the Singles and Mixed tournament being held on the Saturday and the doubles tournament held on the Sunday.

Portadown club members were well represented in both the Social and Competitive sections of the competition

The standard of badminton was of an exceptionally high standard and whilst none of the players advanced beyond their respective groups all could leave with their heads held high.

The weekend was enjoyed by all who took part and I think it's safe to say the Portadown club left their mark, both at the badminton and the karoke night.
